Some of these phone calls and photographs of abject humiliation are hard to swallow, even if one knows the mortification is self-imposed. Some of the calls are not pretty, but none of the scammers were injured during the phone conversations. In fact, some poor elderly person just might have been spared from sending their life savings to one of the scammers while they were calling me or looking for me at the airport.
